As far as workshops/ classes near Younstown/Warren area???? It seems that all the action is in Cleveland/Akron or the Columbus areas! Does anyone know of something right here in my neck of the woods???

    I am working on the Boardman YMCA to allow me to start bellydance classes. I am currently interning there, soon to get paid. The head of the aerobics department asked me to do an inservice on bellydance, but the soonest one available is in the Fall.

    Until then, there's only Ginny's Bellydance Boudoir in Canfield. She should be in the phone book. I don't know if Lana Van Auker is still teaching out of her home based studio in Canfield or not. Message me for her phone number if you haven't already met her. I see you know April. She has taken classes from both of these women.

      Yes I do know April! She's tought me a lot! We danced together before she moved, she's an awesome dancer! I also know of Lana! What a fun instuctor! As far as Ginny no I have not met her and I am thinking of taking classes with her, waiting for some funds lol! I wish you luck with the YMCA! I hope it really takes off! And I will try to check it out in the fall! Thanks so much for responding! I also heard of a womens wellness center opening in Boardman in the near future! They offer yoga, meditation,and much more! And I'm pretty sure (but don't quote me lol) some bellydance classes!!

    Hi,

    I've opened a studio in Youngstown, on Belmont Ave between St. Elizabeth's Hospital and Gypsy Lane (just past the Avalon Gardens on Belmont if you are familiar with that, in the old Chrystal's Restaurant Building).. 1931 Belmont Ave Suite #2.

    I'm headed to the Tribal Massive in Vegas Monday Mar 3-11th but will resume normal classes on Tuesday the 12th.

      Oh hey I've been there!! I took classes when Chrissy was teaching, I was just wondering the other day if classes where still being held there!!! How funny to see this post!! Have fun in Vegas!!! I will absolutely check the class schedule!!! Thank you!!
